Big Dailey Bayou Trail

This .7 mile two-track is the access road for the boat ramp on the Big Daily Bayou, though it’s hard to imagine that many people bring a trailered boat down here. Most of the trail is flat, sandy, and meanders through the hardwood forest up top. The hill down to the bottom of the valley is an 8% grade and rutted in a few spots, making it interesting, but you won’t feel like you might fall off the hill (like you could if taking the Hill Climb bypass). There are a few spots that would get muddy, but no mud holes. There are a few places to turn off to allow other vehicles to pass, as there is not enough room to pass otherwise. Throw a canoe or kayak on top, and make this a multi-discipline adventure.
