Trail Overview

Straight Shot Trail (130th Avenue) is an easy, fun off-road trail for beginners. Located off 132nd Avenue and Lincoln Road, this route is easily accessible. This trail is typically easy with nothing technical. Most of the trail is a combination of sand and dirt and weaves through a beautiful forest with great fall foliage. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause mud/water holes that can get rutted out quickly. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a unique and fun trail! Venture off to the 133rd Avenue and Railroad Bridge for a cool photo before or after this trail. It's worth the side trip!

in true allegan form, a part of the trial was obstructed by the police and a vehicle that tried to turn around (to get away) very entertaining day.

gave it a 3 raring because it was a very busy day and tons of traffic on the trail going both ways and having to try and pull off a ton to let other vehicles by. It's a bit of a rough trail but most of its sand. most AWD and 4X4 vehicle could make it on this trail atm.

I nice stretch of dirt road. To see the single lane train bridge continue west on 133rd Ave from 53rd St. Be mindful of residential driveways in the area.
