Trail Overview

This trail is an extension of the Green Ridge Karl to Creek Crossings Trail. It features steep, rocky terrain with small ruts throughout. Four-wheel drive is recommended at all times, especially when water or snow is present on the ground.

Pretty dry considering the recent rain, large tree was down right at the end at oldtown Orleans but we cut it and moved it to the side.

Trail closed with gate. Not sure why but a few others in the forest were closed for weather reasons, I believe.

Agree with other review - this does not warrant a 4 - a 2 at most. Its essentially a dirt road. I drove it in HI4 but could have made it fine in 2wd. Even saw a number of large trailers parked at camp sites along the trail.

This trail is not even close to a 4 difficulty. There are a few small ruts, less than a foot deep, that are easily avoided. This short section of Oldtown Orleans Rd rates a 2, no more.
