Trail Overview

This is a wide, freshly graded gravel road with massive incline changes. Portions of the trail can be steep at times. As you follow the gorge, you will pass the camp spots along the river. There are beautiful overlooks and multiple creekside camp spots. It is not recommended doing this trail in winter without chains. This is a phenomenal road;you will absolutely love driving this.

Forest road with a ton of camp sites, a few parts with rough road where it was nice having 4wd but not needed at all. You can make it to most of these in a regular car it’ll just be a bumpy ride

The trail itself is not hard at all but there’s a couple of places to play around. There’s a fishing access point where you can cross the river if you want. Keep in mind it hadn’t rained in 10 days and the water still came up over the bumpers.

Trail was gravel covered. Several sections were rutted out badly and there are some steep areas you need to climb. Nothing too difficult to manage.

Fun twisty trail that can get narrow and quite steep. Some small rutted out sections and several 13+ degree slopes means AWD or 4x4 would definitely be recommended.

Started at the east end with a pretty steep (up to 12 degrees) grade with chunky loose gravel, then descended to a beautiful and shallow crossing (pictured). No more crossings after that, just smooth sailing on an easy trail.
