Trail Overview

The trail starts as a gravel route and turns into rock, dirt, and mud. It is not very technical, but when wet, the slick mud and small ruts may cause hazards in some areas. Crossing the creek may be deep at some times in the season, and it is usually, on average, 18-20 inches deep.

Some rocky steeper grades, several large mud puddles. The enterance to the creek crossing is very choppy, muddy, and off-camber. Rather advanced for a 3 just because of that.

Easy and fun trail with some smaller mud holes and some places to get off into the creeks. When you get to the creek crossing at the end, the trail continues into what is the “Hard 3” section of the KAT.

Caution of how hard the trail gets past the outlined point. We tried to make it to the Daughtry to Sheltowee Trail north of this trail. It starts easy, but is definitely a SXS trail not too far in. Very rutted and tight, will have to turn around and go back out if in OHV for now.
