Trail Overview

Rail Bed is one of the most recognizable trails at the park, mainly due to the infamous "waterfall" obstacle at its beginning. The left side of the waterfall is manageable for most rigs, but there is also a bypass around the entire thing. Beyond the waterfall is a short and shallow climb over loose rock to the trail exit, which has 3 challenging options to choose from. There is no bypass exit from the trail, but it is easy enough to back out of and turn around.

Difficulty

The waterfall obstacle is an obvious 10 with a high probability of rollover or drivetrain breakage, but it is able to be completely bypassed. One of the 3 exit choices is essentially a "buggy line" with a high probability of body damage. The other 2 exits are steep climbs with protruding rocks and erosion that may be challenging for low-clearance vehicles. You will need a vehicle to be at the top of the exit if you want/need to winch out.
