The east section between 1209 and Spencer Ridge road could be a 3/10 if you are looking for something not too challenging. Has a bunch of mud holes about a foot deep. Some hills with some ruts but not washed out badly. We didn't have time to do the entire loop, but this section can be done in 45 minutes roughly.

It can pretty well be broke up into 2 sections, those being creek and mud connected by a gravel road, the mud section wasn't bad at all I saw a drunk man in a stock 4 wheel drive silverado come through it, however the creek side gets a tight in some areas, there are some large rocks you have to work around and a couple sections that had washed out, but anywhere it would get dicey there is a bypass usually through the creek the only thing of note is on the creek side heading back out towards the entrance there is one large mud hole that runs straight into a large rock, you may need guided a little to get round it, other than that super fun trail not terribly difficult, finished the whole loop in about 3 hours and 45 minutes

two large trees that used to block the creek were removed by our crew. Great trail.... one large significant mud hole. Midsize rocks in the creek and some places are tight.

Solo ride in a JT Willy’s with stock wheel/tires and a 2” lift. I went in from the southeast side. Started off as a rutted dirt trail that probably gets pretty slippery when it’s wet. I marked the end of the rutted section in a pic. Traveling north from there it becomes smooth gravel and some paved roads. Coming back southwest counter-clockwise I marked where the offroad part starts again. Lots of tadpole eggs in the first puddle, be mindful. From here on it was mostly fording down the creek with a few parts of trail running next to it at blockages or deep parts. Drug my diff through the mud in some parts. All pretty manageable with good tire placement but the last two miles got more difficult. About a mile from the end there was a long deep puddle with a big hump in the middle on a steep hill side with no bypass. I got stuck here, in the mud then on the frame, but was able to winch myself out. The report before me refers to this hole as the 1st obstacle. No other issues. Bring your muck boots though

the first major obstacle on the trail has gotten deeper. the first drop in has become a ledge and the hump between the two holes is substantial. several jeeps had to be pulled over it. if the conditions are dry you can maneuver around ok. if it's wet you will slide into the middle of both holes.

Trail was not wet, but not dry either. The two mud pits toward the very end (we went counterclockwise from Hwy 1209) were not nearly as bad as last year when we went.
