Trail Overview
This trail offers a mix of scenery and mild challenge, beginning with winding paths that feature several mud holes, some of which can get fairly deep after rain. Drivers should be prepared for slick conditions and uneven footing. The route also includes a few off-camber sections and tight turns through the trees, requiring careful navigation and slower speeds. One of the most unique highlights is a church-like reception area along the way, a quiet and rustic spot that adds character to the trail.
Difficulty
This trail offers mild challenges with a few deep mud holes, off-camber sections, tight turns, and logs to drive over. While mostly manageable, these features require attention and controlled driving. The route remains accessible for most capable 4x4s, but caution is recommended in wet conditions.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
