Trail Overview
This trail is fairly overgrown, with tall grass beginning to reclaim sections of the path, giving it a more rugged and unused appearance. As you follow the route, you’ll encounter a slight off-camber section where the trail leans to one side, adding a bit of caution to the otherwise gentle terrain. The trail also passes close to several trees, so it’s important not to carry too much speed to avoid rubbing against trunks or low branches. Despite these minor features, the trail remains simple and scenic, offering a peaceful drive through natural surroundings. There are no major obstacles, making it ideal for a relaxed exploration.
Difficulty
This trail is easy overall, with only minor challenges such as light overgrowth and a slight off-camber lean. There are no major obstacles, making it suitable for stock vehicles and beginner drivers, as long as caution is used near trees and uneven sections.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
