Trail Overview
This trail winds through a mix of open and wooded terrain, starting from a grassy approach that quickly narrows into a shaded path lined with mature trees. The trail features a few tight squeezes between trunks and brush that will require careful tire placement, especially for wider rigs. A short sandhill climb adds a little excitement, but traction remains manageable with moderate throttle. The dirt surface is firm and lightly rutted, making it easy to navigate under dry conditions. With no major obstacles, this route offers a relaxed drive with just enough terrain variation to keep things interesting for any driver.
Difficulty
Mostly easy-going with firm dirt and light ruts, but the tight tree sections and narrow path require attentive driving. The sandhill climb adds a mild challenge, though nothing extreme. Most stock 4x4s can handle it without issue.
History
This park was formerly known as Sandy Bottoms, and longtime visitors may still refer to it by that name. The access road and staging area have evolved over time, but it remains a well-known local spot for off-road events and community rides.
