Trail Overview

Board Corral Loop delivers a rugged, visually rewarding experience with panoramic views of dramatic rock formations in all directions. This route takes you through open grassy meadows, over cliffside ridgelines, and steep hill climbs and descents, offering varied terrain and constant elevation changes. The trail surface is dirt with embedded rocks, and you'll encounter whoops, rutted sections, and a few very deep ruts that demand careful line selection. Drivers will also drop into a couple of small creeks, adding a bit of fun and variety to the route. Though the scenery is stunning, the technical features along the trail require solid driving skills and a capable rig.

Difficulty

Due to steep grades, deep ruts, and uneven terrain, this trail earns its grade. High clearance and 4WD are recommended, especially in wet or muddy conditions. Not overly technical, but not forgiving--ideal for confident off-roaders seeking a scenic and adventurous route through rugged terrain.

Road is majority pretty smooth but it is very washboard and all though it is a pretty easy trail I would definitely recommend 4x4 or all wheel drive do to the fact that there are some sections with very deep ruts and water crossings some a little muddier and deeper then others that you could potentially get stuck in if in an awd car.
