Trail Overview

At the end of this relatively short but difficult offshoot is the top of Stonewall Knob. There is a small campsite that a couple of vehicles could use and a couple of walking trails. At the time of submission, the campsite contained a significant amount of trash, and cleanup will require bringing trash bags and gloves.

Difficulty

Your vehicle will need to be able to make it up the first obstacle, which is 2 feet tall, right into the entrance. You'll need high clearance and 4x4. Deep, off-camber ruts filled with loose leaf debris required the use of low gear and engagement of the rear differential lock, even with rough terrain tires designed for conditions between all-terrain and mud-terrain performance.
