Trail Overview

Central Georgia woods in country farm land trail that is very scenic with vegetation and animals. This trail follows along the Altamaha River that the World Famous Survivor Man Show couldn't complete. Watch to see Deer, Small Game, Turtles, and Alligators. This trail also crosses the Georgia Overland Adventure Trail (The GOAT).

The initial trail was dry with rutting caused by previous water run off. Along the trails which parallel the river there were apx three short water crossings which were less than six inches deep. The trail was clear for Jeep sized vehicles in 2WD. It appeared some trail trimming has taken place, and pin stripes were not a worry. The roads exiting this trail were wide, clear and safe for traveling. I found this to be a beautiful trail which I look forward to visiting again.

There was one gate that was closed off but the detour ran alongside it. Easy to do in 2WD and had a few mud puddles to splash through. There were some nice spots to pull off to the side as well. Spend some time at the waters edge or just take some group pictures!
