Trail Overview

Triad Ridge East (ATV) is a scenic, 1.6-mile trail within the Fourmile Recreation Area near Buena Vista, designed for vehicles 50 inches or less. The route climbs gradually from 8,668 feet to 9,235 feet, offering views of the Arkansas River Valley and Collegiate Peaks. The surface consists of hard-packed dirt and weathered granite gravel, with a loose, sandy wash at the southern entrance. This beginner-friendly trail winds through mixed pine and juniper forests and is best enjoyed from late spring through autumn.
