Bald Mountain Spur

This loop around Bald Mountain is definitely on the advanced side due to steep grades on very loose rocks. The Westside of the loop is easier than the Eastside. The Eastside offers more challenging sections with tighter switchbacks to navigate. The valley overlooks from the 9,600' summit is pretty amazing, especially if you catch it on a not so hazy day. Narrow trail width - 50" or fewer vehicles advised.
