Trail Overview
This is a short, easy route suitable for all vehicles. The road is well-established and offers outstanding panoramic views, with snow-capped mountain peaks visible in multiple directions on clear days. Several spur routes branch off from the main road, providing access to more challenging terrain for those looking to extend their adventure. For visitors seeking a scenic drive, however, this route is an excellent choice on its own. This mapped route ends at the boundary of a private property area. While public vehicle access beyond this point may be permitted by the landowner, the route was intentionally mapped only to the edge of the private property and does not continue through it.
Difficulty
This is an easy BLM road that can be comfortably traveled by any 4WD vehicle or a high-clearance 2WD vehicle in dry conditions. The route is well-established with no significant obstacles, and most drivers should have no difficulty navigating it when conditions are favorable. As with any dirt road, recent rain or snow can affect traction and road conditions, but under normal dry conditions, this is a straightforward and enjoyable drive.
