Trail Overview

This short, scenic trail is accessed by a fully maintained county road that any car can drive. Within the first 40 yards, two large, level campsites can each accommodate up to 14 vehicles, with fire rings, shade, and excellent forest views. After the campsites, the trail narrows as it winds through dense aspen trees and consists mostly of dirt and gravel. Seasonal closure: August 20–June 1. At the end of the trail, motorized access ends and only hiking, horseback riding, and bicycles are allowed. E-bikes, side-by-sides, motorcycles, and other motor vehicles are not permitted beyond the closure.
