Ponderosa Road

Ponderosa Road is a hard-packed dirt road with a few ruts, slight off-camber sections, and two small water crossings that can become deeper during spring runoff. High clearance is recommended, especially in the spring. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of Buffalo Peak, and cell service is available throughout the route. The road ends at a single forested campsite. This area is subject to a seasonal closure.
