Peter Estin Hut

This route climbs from Yeoman Park Campground to the historic Peter Estin Hut. The road passes through dense pine forests, crosses stretches of distinctive red-soil terrain, and traverses open mountain meadows before reaching the hut. While the route is steep for much of its length and can be somewhat rutted in places, it is generally accessible to most high-clearance vehicles in dry conditions. Several dispersed campsites are scattered along the road, making it a convenient option for camping or as a scenic approach to the hut.
