Trail Overview

Peakaboo Gulch, as the name suggests, provides amazing vistas, including wildflowers, tall peaks, and seasonal waterfalls. This trail is accessed from the South Fork Lake Creek road, and while the road surface isn't too challenging, note that there are portions of narrow and exposed shelf road. Although the trail continues to an old mine, there isn't any signage, but note that the mine is located within the Collegiate Peaks Wilderness boundary, which doesn't allow motorized access. This is important as there are limited places to turn around at the actual end of the trail.
