Trail Overview

This trail climbs toward the Kremmling Cretaceous Ammonite Locality, also known as Fossil Ridge, home to the highest known concentration of giant ammonite fossils in the world. Along the way, you'll enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding rolling hills and distant mountain peaks. The route is somewhat overgrown with sagebrush in places, so drive carefully to avoid vegetation encroaching on the trail.
