FS Road 112

FS Road 112 is an unmaintained, hard-packed dirt road with numerous ruts, off-camber sections, and overgrown vegetation. The route also includes two small stream crossings and several tight sections where fallen trees have narrowed the roadway. A high-clearance 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended. The road lies entirely within the East Troublesome Fire burn scar, although it does pass through a few pockets of forest that were spared by the fire. FS Road 112 ends at a U.S. Forest Service closure. Beyond this point, the route is open only to hikers and equestrians. Due to the amount of overgrowth along the route, pinstriping can be expected. When parking, avoid stopping over tall grasses and brush, as hot exhaust components can ignite dry vegetation.
