Trail Overview
The Doubletop Waterfall Spur Trail is a short and easy connector trail between Doubletop Trail and the Doubletop Walrod Spur Trail. It’s a mostly gradual descent from north to south, dropping about 500 feet in elevation over .9 miles. The trail is mostly just a smooth and flowy dirt single track, with a few sections that have more loose rock. It gets steeper in a few spots as it descends, curving through a few sweeping hairpin curves. On the north end, it traverses across grassy hilltops through sagebrush meadows and groves of aspens and pine trees, and you get a great view of Cement Mountain as you descend.
Difficulty
This trail is ideal for beginner riders, with no major obstacles, through mostly gradual, smooth terrain. There are a couple of rockier spots with either loose rocks or ramped embedded rock layers that are easy to ride over. Expect a few steep spots, but mostly flowy trail.
