Trail Overview

Cicada is a short trail in the North Fruita Desert trail system that is mostly fast and scenic. It winds along several ridge lines in a burn area, through sagebrush, and has 4 or 5 road crossings. This trail is very similar to Cloud City, except slightly more tight and winding, and with slightly more ledge exposure, although still moderate. There are no significant obstacles. The trail has potential to be hot in summer, or slippery after rain.
