Trail Overview

Starting on Country Road 100, you'll head east onto the dirt path. You will then turn onto USFS Road 376. Once you are on the trail, it is pretty calm but you'll still need an SUV with decent clearance to cross some deep ruts and off-camber sections. It's a fairly calm trail, but there are still snowbanks in mid-April which add some extra challenge. At the top of the trail, there is a campsite with a beautiful overlook of the surrounding mountain ranges. It's a great spot for camping and testing your rig without pushing it too far.

This is a level one trail that is a spur off of Gold Lake trail. any all-wheel drive vehicle could do it and probably any sedan. it's very short and very easy with just some rocks right before you reach the end which provides a wonderful view toward Longs Peak.

Simple out and back off of Gold Lake. One slightly rocky spot, but mostly a dirt road.
