Burma Road

This route descends from Cottonwood Pass Road through dense timber and forested mountainsides before ending near a logging operation. Despite its industrial endpoint, the trail offers surprisingly good views along the way, including scenic overlooks of the surrounding peaks, valleys, and forests. Several dispersed campsites can be found throughout the route, making it a good option for those looking to camp away from the busier areas near the main roads. The road itself is generally straightforward and provides a pleasant drive through classic Sawatch Range scenery, with numerous opportunities to take in the surrounding mountain landscape.
