Big Ridge Road - FS 243

This short, scenic trail consists mostly of red dirt that can become difficult when wet. Ruts start at 4–5 inches and increase to 8–10 inches farther along. The single-width trail has limited passing space and runs cliffside with views of surrounding mountains and valleys. A campsite near the beginning can accommodate up to three vehicles, and another small, level campsite is located at the end. Around 1.3 miles, a hill climb reaches up to 10 degrees off-camber.
