Trail Overview
Beaver Creek Trail is a fairly easy trail that is graded occasionally, making it a nice, smooth road for most of the year. The Elevation is high, reaching over 11,000 ft, so if you are from sea level, be prepared. This also means you could run into snow early in the year. You may find that early season, it is a little more rutted up as they are still working on fixing it up. This trail does have one point at the beginning that is similar to a shelf road, but you have room, so it is not bad. This is right before Beaver Creek Reservoir. Beyond this point, the trail is easy with a smaller Subaru being able to make it. Along the way, there is great fishing in Beaver Creek in the summer, and Poage Lake at the top of the road is also very good for fishing. There are also lots of good camping spots along the trail.
Difficulty
The trail is graded, keeping it nice and smooth. The trail might get a little washed out after a rain storm, but it is typically good and two vehicles wide. There is one spot at the beginning similar to a shelf road, but plenty wide not to create a problem.
