It is a very short, highly scenic exploration that is perfect for a brief detour into nature. The road maintains a very consistent, gentle character for its entire length until it comes to an abrupt halt at a sturdy, bright yellow locked pipe gate just under the one-mile mark. Because it is a hard dead-end at this gate, visitors should simply be prepared to turn around and enjoy the forested landscape one more time on the way back out.
