Trail Overview
This is a fast and flowy 50" trail through open fields on the northern edge of the Ballinger riding area. It starts near the Day Use parking area and adjacent campground and will provide a good warm-up ride before heading out to more difficult trails. There are several short, steep, and rutted hill climbs/descents scattered along the route that will add a little spice and might be a bit more challenging for beginner riders. Be careful cresting the hills as riders may be approaching in the opposite direction. Trail surface is primarily packed dirt with stretches of embedded small rocks, loose soil, and shallow sand. Flat sections also often have frequent, closely spaced whoops and shallow ruts. Red or Green Stickers required for OHV. Tread Lightly and Pack-It-Out.
