Trail Overview

A short and rough trail for high clearance 4x4s. It leads through manzanitas groves to a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The trail is marked with caution tape and a handwritten note "High Clearance 4x4s Only. Walk it first." The only turnaround is at the bottom of the obstacles.

Made the mistake of going here on a Friday. Came up Los Burros road, unfortunately couldn’t get up there until around 7pm. Every spot on this trail was full. Had to backtrack and go about 5 miles in the opposite direction to find an open spot to camp. Stock 23 Tacoma and barely made it out of the cliff side trail, had to use 4lo and locker + mts and still barely made it. I’d recommend going on a weekday or getting here before noon on a weekend if you want to camp right on the cliff. Last pic is the toughest obstacle, photo does it no justice, it’s about a 20 degree angle and very deep holes.

Very short section with deep ruts and off camber, 4low recommended, made it no problem with stock open axles on WJ. There is a short optional obstacle at the cliff side that would probably be an 8/10.

Trail closed supposedly extremely rutted due to erosion
