Poleta Loop

This scenic loop travels through Inyo National Forest before returning to BLM land, offering excellent mountain and valley views. Around 0.2 miles, a large, level campsite accommodates up to six vehicles and overlooks Bishop and the surrounding mountains. At 0.8 miles, the trail becomes significantly more challenging with a steep descent over 12–18 inch rocks and ledges.
