This challenging trail begins partially on BLM land with a staging area for up to 12 vehicles. The route immediately climbs a steep 20–25° slope with 14–24-inch ruts before continuing uphill through nonstop rock gardens, ledges, and boulders ranging from 12–20 inches tall. Expect frequent 10–15° off-camber sections and cliffside terrain. At the end, a level campsite accommodates up to four vehicles with incredible mountain views and a unique cave nearby that can be explored on foot.
