Trail Overview
The Maxey Ranch Road is located within the Hungry Valley SVRA. It is 1.7 miles long and begins at the intersections of The Meadows Trail and the Old Cottonwood Trails at GPS coordinates N34.75937° W118.89924°. While most of this trail is wide enough for two full-size vehicles to pass side by side, some sections get narrow and will require one vehicle to move off the side of the trail to allow the other to pass. It is a hard pack trail with some sections of small whoops. At .84 of a mile, the Tataviam Trail terminates on the right. At 1.3 miles, the Flying W Trail terminates on the left. The Maxey Ranch Road trail ends when it intersects with the Schmidt Ranch Road at GPS coordinates N34.74049° W118.88198°.
Difficulty
There are no difficult sections on this trail. It is an easy trail to navigate, and while two trails terminate at the Maxey Ranch Road, they do not cross it.
