Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail steadily gains elevation as it climbs into the hillside. Overgrown vegetation is common, with little room for vehicles to pass. Large amounts of cut timber and trees sit close to the route, requiring careful maneuvering between them. The loose dirt can become considerably more difficult when wet. The route connects to two additional trails and nearby camping areas while offering scenic views of the dense forest and surrounding mountain ranges through openings in the trees. A large campsite near the far end is private, level, fully shaded, and can accommodate up to seven vehicles.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 2 because of the continuous elevation gain, narrow terrain, overgrown vegetation, and cut timber close to the trail. There are no significant technical obstacles, although careful maneuvering is required through tighter sections.
