Trail Overview
This wide, well-maintained fine-dirt road travels toward the northern and higher-elevation sections of the National Forest, providing connections to additional trails and camping areas. Ruts remain minor at only 2–3 inches deep, with plenty of room for vehicles to pass. The fine-dirt surface can become more difficult when wet. The route steadily gains elevation while traveling through a beautiful, dense section of forest. Massive trees, some reaching up to 8 feet in diameter, surround the trail and create impressive forest scenery throughout the drive.
