Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail has minimal 3–4 inch ruts and no significant obstacles, making it van and trailer-friendly. The route travels through a particularly dense and scenic section of forest surrounded by mature trees, some reaching up to 6 feet in diameter. The fine-dirt surface can become more difficult when wet. Camping is excellent for large groups, fifth wheels, and camper trailers. Around 0.1 miles, a large, level, shaded campsite accommodates up to 15 vehicles or multiple fifth wheels and campers, while another around 0.2 miles accommodates up to 20 vehicles with plenty of shade and privacy. A smaller campsite near the far end fits two to three vehicles. The route eventually reaches a locked gate at private property, requiring drivers to return the same way.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 1 because it has no significant obstacles and ruts remain only 3–4 inches deep. The easy terrain, large campsites, and minimal obstacles make it well-suited for vans, trailers, and larger camping setups.
