This well-maintained trail continues north from FS 6N17, beginning as a wide road with plenty of room for vehicles to pass and ruts no deeper than 3 inches. Around 1 mile, the trail becomes narrower with little room to pass, and ruts increase to 6–10 inches deep. Camping is plentiful throughout the route. Around 0.2 miles, a large, level campsite with a fire ring accommodates up to 10 vehicles or multiple fifth wheels and campers. Additional level campsites around 0.8, 1.3, and 1.6 miles accommodate smaller groups, with the 0.8-mile site offering plenty of shade from the dense forest.
