Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail continues from FS 6N17 North and climbs up the hillside with little room for vehicles to pass. Near the beginning, expect 5–6 inch ruts and an extended rock garden with 2–6 inch rocks. Farther along, rock ledges reach 12–14 inches tall with ruts up to 12 inches deep. Overgrown vegetation also creates a possibility of pinstriping, especially for wider vehicles. The route steadily gains elevation as it travels through the hillside. This is a one-way-in, one-way-out trail that eventually reaches a locked gate at a private game reserve, requiring drivers to return the same way.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 3 because of the extended rock gardens, 12–14 inch rock ledges, 12-inch ruts, narrow terrain, and continuous hillside climb. Careful tire placement is recommended through the rockier sections.
