Trail Overview
This narrow, fine-dirt trail climbs into the hillside while weaving around large fallen trees, with occasional wider sections where vehicles can pass. Ruts begin under 4 inches deep but increase to around 0.6 miles to 10–12 inches, along with 3–8 inch rocks and 8–10 degrees off-camber terrain. Expect 2–3 foot whoops requiring approximately 12 inches of front-end approach clearance. Around 1.3 miles, a steep hill climb includes an extended rock garden, and 4WD or AWD is highly recommended. Around 2 miles, the route begins descending and becomes significantly tighter due to fallen trees, with sections reaching approximately 8 degrees off-camber. The fine, loose dirt can become considerably more difficult when wet. The route eventually reaches a locked gate at Sierra Pacific private property.
Difficulty
This trail is rated Level 3 because of the 10–12 inch ruts, 3–8 inch rock gardens, steep hill climb, 8–10 degree off-camber terrain, large whoops, and tight fallen-tree sections. 4WD or AWD and adequate front-end clearance are highly recommended.
