Trail Overview
This dusty red gravel road appears to be a main connector between several trails in the area. It is generally easy to follow, but the surface is exceptionally corrugated, so expect a rough, bumpy ride for much of the route. Take your time and adjust your speed to stay comfortable on the uneven surface. There are a few places to camp alongside the road, as well as several side trails that branch off for further exploration. Another interesting feature is a natural watering hole beside the route, which may attract wildlife and provide opportunities for animal sightings. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
