Trail Overview
This short but enjoyable trail winds through the forest along a brown, sandy road, with plenty of flat areas along the way that are suitable for dispersed camping. The route is generally easy to drive in dry conditions, although some sections have been washed out by rain, leaving uneven areas to navigate. These spots should be manageable when dry, but the sandy surface and erosion may make the trail more slippery and challenging after rainfall. The surrounding forest and open camping areas make this a lovely little route for a relaxed outing, whether you’re passing through or looking for a place to stop and camp. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
