Trail Overview

This 2-mile point-to-point trail climbs over 500 feet from North Canyon Road to FS 1N02. The sandy surface is one vehicle wide, lined with sagebrush on a plateau before quickly starting to climb. This trail is very scenic with beautiful views of the mountains and different rock formations all around. There are canyons and interesting rock formations with many different layers of hills and mountains in the distance and forefront. In the fall, you have fantastic colors with the aspen trees higher up. The last section at the top of the hill enters a pine forest.
