Trail Overview
This challenging desert route climbs 333 feet and drops 241 feet over just one mile of varied terrain. The very sandy track features a steep hill that transitions from deep sand to sandy conditions with lots of rocks. The combination of elevation changes, sand, rocks, and surface irregularities creates a technical but rewarding off-road experience.
Difficulty
This trail earns a moderate-easy difficulty rating due to its steep elevation changes, deep sand sections, and mixed rocky terrain. The numerous whoops and long stretches of washboards require good vehicle control and suspension management. 4x4 with low gear is highly recommended and makes this trail fairly easy to navigate. Airing down is a must for proper traction in the sandy conditions. Watch your speed carefully as the washboards extend for long distances.
