Trail Overview

This 2.5-mile out-and-back trail climbs over 360 feet in just over a mile, winding through pine forest along a shelf road. The route offers beautiful views of the Eastern Sierras and White Mountain, along with pretty views of the valley below. The trail provides a scenic forest experience with varied elevation and mountain vistas throughout the journey.

Difficulty

This trail earns a low difficulty rating with its pumice and sand surface. Four-wheel drive is highly recommended, while high clearance is not required. The route features a few low-hanging branches that will hit taller vehicles, so be mindful of vehicle height when navigating through the forested sections.
