Trail Overview

This is a short loop dirt road in Sequoia National Forest. Along the loop, you can find a few spots perfect for tent camping, with plenty of room for up to 2 to 3 tents and vehicles. The trail is just next to/across from the Princess Campground and Indian Basin Grove off Highway 180.

Trail was closed at both ends for seasonal closure. No snow spotted on the trail at this time. Forest service said “they have to drive the trails before opening them” so no estimated opening date given.

The trail was fun and nice. But the only problem is that at the very end the gate is closed. I don’t know why if the entrance is open. I had to turn around and get out.
