Accessed directly off of Charity 2 - FS 31362, this peaceful out-and-back spur is primarily utilized by forest visitors seeking secluded dispersed camping or looking to take an easy hike up the open upper hillside to explore the striking rimrock geology. The trail begins with a two-prong entrance—where the left option offers a slightly rockier path while the right side passes over a partially buried fallen aspen—before merging into a hard-packed dirt track with grass growing along the midline. At roughly 0.3 miles in, the road makes a steep uphill turn through an overgrown section, passing a spacious clearing where visitors can camp or turn around. The route continues up into a cozy grove of trees that provides a smaller campsite and turnaround area, where vehicle travel ends at the foot of a steep, loose rock slope leading up to the ridge.

The primary obstacle occurs around 0.3 miles in, where a steep uphill turn features a narrow, deeply banked erosion cut running perpendicularly across the road alongside additional rutting on the left. Drivers should choose the left branch at the entrance for an easier start and approach the 0.3-mile turn slowly, carefully straddling the erosion channel to keep lower vehicle components clear of the high banks. Beyond this feature, the road remains manageable up to the tree grove turnaround, though driving up the loose rock slope past the trees is not advised.
