Trail Overview

This well-maintained road serves as a useful connector across the Lassen National Forest, linking one side to the other. The surface varies between red and brown gravel, with some particularly rocky sections along the way. Several forest roads branch off from the main route, offering additional options for exploring the area. Much of the surrounding land belongs to Sierra Pacific Industries and is used for timber operations, so pay close attention to posted signs and respect all access restrictions. Signs indicate which roads you may or may not travel on, and it is important to stay on permitted routes and avoid trespassing on private property. ATVs, UTVs, Side-by-Sides, and Dirt Bikes must always have a valid California ATV Operating Permit sticker.
