Trail Overview
This trail starts on the west side with a semi-steep hill climb up into the forest, then winds on a narrow path between a tight corridor of manzanita trees. It turns right at an intersection, and steeply descends down a curvy path that keeps winding through the oak trees. There’s a couple big logs down that you’ll have to go over. This is a fun one that is mostly fast and flowy, with not many rocks. There are a few small little drop offs from embedded roots. It’s a scenic forest with good shade. It connects to 16EV244 in a dry and grassy meadow with some loose rock. You can take 16EV244 back out to the Forest Service Road. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
Difficulty
This is an easy trail with no major obstacles, and not many rocks, but a few roots here and there. It should be approachable for beginner riders, but pay attention in the tight tree corridors for low hanging branches, and expect new log hazards.
