Trail Overview

This short and easy trail starts on the Forest Service Road 4N16 and goes north, passing the intersection with 16EV136 in a dry and grassy meadow with loose rock. It continues into the forest of pines and oaks, winding on a smooth dirt path with not many rocks, but roots here and there. A lot of downed logs have already been cut, making this approachable and easy for newer riders. There are a couple more rutted sections, and low-hanging branches to watch out for. It steadily descends from south to north, with the steepest section being on the north end as it makes a big hairpin turn to drop down to the FS Road 3N59YA. The FS Road is more like a continuation of the trail, being really narrow between the trees, and mostly trafficked by dirt bikes to access this trail. This trail is seasonally closed 12/16 – 4/14 to motorized use.
